On 13th -15th of May the Conference IEEE SIST 2026 took place in Astana, Kazakhstan. Prof. Carsten Wollf presented the paper “Design of Smart Systems for an Optimized Fit between AI Computing and Regional Renewable Energy Systems” written by Carsten Wolff, Roland Neuhaus, Jonas Fleck, Philipp Heisig, Nurkhat Zhakiyev, Rolf Schuster. In addition, Prof. Carsten Wolff was invited to present the Keynotes on the topic “Aspects of the digital transformation of security and warfare on the example of small military drones development”.
