DAAD UA4PIM Consortium Meeting during the ISC 2026

On September 18th, a Consortium meeting was held for the team implementing the “Project and Innovation Management for Ukraine” (UA4PIM) project, which is funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) under the German-Ukrainian University Network (DUHN) program.

The UA4PIM project is being implemented jointly by the Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts (FH Dortmund), the National University “Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic” (NU-ZP), the West Ukrainian National University (WUNU) and the Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture (KNUCA). 

Project coordinator Prof. Dr. Carsten Wolff provided an overview of the current status of new learning modules development within the project framework: 

• “Sustainable Digital Transformation” (led by Galyna Tabunshchyk, NUZP). 
• “Sustainable Project Management” (led by Olena Verenych, KNUCA).
• “Human-AI Interaction and Collaboration” (led by Iryna Turchenko, WUNU). 

It was noted that the module abstracts have successfully passed peer review; work is underway on full module specifications, and the development of teaching materials has begun. Key areas for future activity include preparing double-degree diploma agreements and launching pilot teaching of students in the Summer semester of 2026/2027 a.y.

As part of the collaboration between project teams participating in the DUHN program, representatives of the DAAD UA4PIM project held a working meeting with coordinators of the TANDEM-UA-DE project (Teaching and Administration Network for Double Degree Education and Mobility — Ukraine and Germany) during the ISC2026. The meeting was attended by TANDEM-UA-DE project coordinators Prof. Kateryna Antoniuk and Prof. Dmytro Antoniuk, who are currently affiliated with the OTH Amberg-Weiden (Germany). The key objectives of both projects are the development of advanced educational programs and the establishment of new partnerships between German and Ukrainian universities.
