On September 30, 2023, a seminar on the Digital Sustainability Canvas (DSC) was held as part of the Sustainability course within the Master’s Programme in Project Management of the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU).

Approximately 20 students participated in this session. During the first part of the lecture the theoretical background of sustainability was taught. This was followed by an explanation about how to apply the DSC to get a visual representation of a project’s impact on the three pillars of sustainability. During the seminar, two real case studies were presented by Siemens, a partner of Erasmus+ KA1 Knowledge Alliance “Projects for the Digital Transformation” (ProDiT). Both cases were virtually explained by a representative of this company. This allowed the students to directly discuss and ask questions about the cases. Additionally, the students were asked to apply the DSC to one of these cases and to present their assessments.
