As part of the DAAD program “German-Ukrainian University Network” and the implementation of the UA4PIM – Project and Innovation Management for Ukraine, the delegation of the IDiAL FH Dortmund visited the Ostbayerische TH Amberg-Weiden, where they met with the team working on the implementation of the project TANDEM-UA-DE – Teaching & Administration Network for Double Degree Education and Mobility – Ukraine and Germany.
On June 24, Head of DAAD UA4PIM Project, Director of IDiAL, Prof. Dr. Carsten Wolff and Head of TANDEM-UA-DE Project, Vice President for Academic and International Affairs OTH Amberg-Weiden, Prof. Dr. Julia Heigl, discussed the features of implementing DAAD program together with National University “Zaporizhia Polytechnic” (NUZP).
On June 25, the delegation of FH Dortmund took part in the meeting dedicated to the results of the first year of TANDEM-UA-DE project and talked with representatives of OTH Amberg-Weiden and other Ukrainian universities, in particular Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and Lutsk National Technical University. Prof. Dr. Carsten Wolff presented the experience of implementing joint projects between the FH Dortmund and Ukrainian universities, including currently running DAAD UA4PIM project.

Representatives of NUZP took part in the meetings: Rector Viktor Greshta, Prof. Dr. Kateryna Antoniuk, Prof. Dr. Dmytro Antoniuk, Dr. Anzhelika Parkhomenko, Dr. Andrii Kuts.From FH Dortmund, Ekaterina Hermann (Project Coordinator, UA4PIM) and Catrin Randersen (Train-the-Trainer Activities, UA4PIM) took part in the program visits.From OTH Amberg-Weiden, the meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. med. Clemens Bulitta (President), Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Weber (Vice President for Research and Development), Dr. Stephan Roth, (Operative Director TTZ NEW), Dr. Bastian Vergnon, (Project Manager, RISE – Regional Institute for Start-ups and Entrepreneurship), Maika Victor-Ustohal (Project Manager Competence Centre for Central and Eastern Europe (KOMO)).
As a result of the visit, both delegations agreed to further strengthen their cooperation in several key areas. These include the joint development of Train‑the‑Trainer programmes, the exchange of knowledge and best practices in establishing double degree programmes, and the sharing of experience in module development and teaching materials within the framework of DAAD‑funded projects.
