Our colleagues Carsten Wolff from Fachhochschule Dortmund and Bertha Joseph Ngereja from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology participated in the master class for the ACTEA project, which took place from 22nd August to 26th August 2022 in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania at Ardhi University. The master class was facilitated by trainers from four universities: Mzumbe University (Tanzania), Fachhochschule Dortmund (Germany), AP University of Applied Sciences and Arts (Belgium), and Hellenic Mediterranean University (Greece).
During the training week, two master classes were held in two parallel sessions. In one session, training on Labour Market skills for Project Management, Business Administration and Quality Management, Educational Games and Low fidelity prototyping, and other exciting topics was offered to the participants. In the parallel session, a master class on Integrated PLC-Node-Red in Industrial Automation was conducted in the ACTEA Automation laboratory.
The participants included ACTEA partners from several universities and research institutions in different countries including AP University of Applied Sciences and Arts (Belgium), Hellenic Mediterranean University (Greece), Mzumbe University (Tanzania), Makelle University and Jimma University (Ethiopia), Muni University and Mbarara University of Science and Technology (Uganda), Research and Education Network for Uganda and the Tanzania Education and Research Network.
