Erasmus+ WORK4CE Project Insights Presentation at ISC 2024 in Dortmund

The International Summer Convention (ISC) 2024 took place from August 26 to 30 at Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts (FH Dortmund) in Germany. Educators, trainers, and researchers from around the world met to share ideas and build global partnerships in education. During the session dedicated to international projects, Galyna Tabunshchyk presented the Erasmus+ CBHE “Cross-domain competences for healthy and safe work in the 21st century” (WORK4CE) project and explained how to bridge the gap between academia and industry by promoting collaboration through innovative virtual partnerships. These partnerships involve lecturers, industry experts, and professional associations working together to create job-related skills for future workplaces. The goal is to prepare graduates to adapt to changing work environments, adopt sustainable practices, and prioritize safety and health.

The Erasmus+ WORK4CE team also met to discuss the development of new Open Educational Resources (OERs). These OERs will capture the project’s key outputs, including learning modules’ items and other materials, to extend the reach and impact of their work. With the project set to conclude in November 2024, this meeting took place to ensure the continued impact and dissemination of the work. A final meeting of the Erasmus+ WORK4CE project is scheduled for the 20th of September, in Baku (Azerbaijan) where the team will discuss the project’s closing activities.

ISC 2024 provided a valuable platform for sharing the Erasmus+ WORK4CE project. By highlighting projects like Erasmus+ WORK4CE, the event showed the importance of working together to solve global challenges and share new ideas in education.
