On 2nd of October, the ‘Sustainable Smart Solutions’ workshop took place at Astana IT University in Kazakhstan. The Institute for the Digital Transformation of Application and Living Domains (IDiAL) accompanied, organised and moderated this event, which took place in the context of the Enactus World Cup, together with the Wilo Foundation. The ‘Smart Cities’ research center at Astana IT University was also involved. Around 40 international students in 8 teams assessed the sustainability aspects of Wilo’s smart water project case studies using the Sustainable Business Model Canvas.
