Participation in ICL 2024 Conference in Tallinn

On 24–27 September 2024 the 27th International Conference on Interactive Collaborative Learning (ICL 2024) took place in Tallinn, Estonia.

Representatives from the Institute for the Digital Transformation of Application and Living Domains (IDiAL) of Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts (FH Dortmund) Carsten Wolff and Nargiza Mikhridinova participated in the Conference with the paper entitled “Digital Case Studies for Transdisciplinary Project-based Learning​” written in frames of the EU Erasmus+ KA2 programme within the Knowledge Alliance “ProDiT: Projects for the Digital Transformation” (621745-EPP-1-2020-1-DE-EPPKA2-KA), the Erasmus+ strategic partnership “European CAse Study Alliance (ECASA), and Erasmus+ KA2 Cooperation Partnership in Higher Education “Virtual Projects for European Digital Natives (NomadTrail)”.

As part of the study program of European Master in Project Management (EuroMPM) Jubayer Alam, a master student of FH Dortmund, has written together with his student team the paper “A Perception Analysis of Challenges Faced by International Female Engineering Students from Developing Countries: Home vs. Host Perspectives”. The paper was accepted to the Conference, where he successfully presented it and gained valuable experience within the academic and scientific worlds.

Veronika Karnaukh was presenting the paper “Research and Implementation of a Framework for Teaching Students the Development of a Virtual Laboratory”. This work is partly carried out with the support of the Erasmus+ KA2: Capacity Building in Higher Education “Cross-domain competences for healthy and safe work in the 21st century” (WORK4CE) (619034-EPP-1-2020-1-UA-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP) project, as well as DAAD project EU-ViMUk.

Also, Iryna Zelenova presented the paper “Challenges and Approached to the Artificial Intelligence in Education”, which was partly carried out with the support of the Erasmus+ KA2: Capacity Building in Higher Education “Cross-domain competences for healthy and safe work in the 21st century” (WORK4CE)(619034-EPP-1-2020-1-UA-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP) project, as well as DAAD projects EU-ViMUk and ViMaCs.
