On Friday 30 August, in the ambit of the International Summer Convention 2024 at Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts (FH Dortmund), a consortium meeting for the Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education “Competences for International Innovation Projects” (CompIIT) was held.
The Erasmus+ CompIIT project addresses the needs in Armenia for graduates who want to work in (virtual) cross-border projects in the digital era. More and more project-based work is being the standard in society, and in a globalized world, cross-border projects also become more and more important. To prepare students for their future career, new competences for a digital future and working in a diverse, multi-national and multi-cultural environment are important. Erasmus+ CompIIT aims at specifying and providing teaching materials for specifically these competences and skills.
The consortium members discussed the progress in the project and made the work-plan for the next six months, starting with a Pilot Teaching Week in Yerevan (Armenia) in October 2024.
As not all members was able to participate in previous consortium meetings, it was an unique chance to meet the partners and discuss in f2f meetings how Erasmus+ CompIIT will move forward in the next period.
