Signing a Double-Degree Agreement Between FH Dortmund and KU Leuven

A double-degree agreement was signed between Fachhochschule Dortmund – University of Applied Sciences and Arts (FH Dortmund) and Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KU Leuven) on 26 of January, 2024 in Leuven, Belgium.

The double degree agreement gives opportunities for students coming from KU Leuven (MSc in Electromechanical/Electronics and ICT Engineering Technology) and from FH Dortmund  (MSc Digital Transformation and MSc Embedded Systems Engineering) to do one master-year in the partner university and obtain both degrees.

Student and staff mobility, sharing and consolidating knowledge and experiences are the cornerstones of this cooperation.

This double degree strengthens further the collaboration between universities. FH Dortmund and KU Leuven are currently working together on the number of European educational projects as Erasmus+ KA1 Knowledge Alliance “Projects for the Digital Transformation” (ProDiT), Erasmus+ KA2 CBHE “Cross-domain competences for healthy and safe work in the 21st century” (Work4Ce), Erasmus+ KA2 CBHE “Competences for International Innovation Projects” (CompIIT) and Erasmus+ KA220 Cooperation Projects “Virtual Projects for European Digital Natives” (NomadTrail), as well as on Erasmus + Blended Intensive Programmes (BIP).
