Workshop on TOGAF 2021

The workshop on TOGAF methodology was hosted by FH Dortmund, Germany.

Format: hybrid

Target audience: master students, bachelor students

The main focus: TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework)

22 students of bachelor and master programmes joined their forces to solve two business cases on Digital Education Ecosystem and IHK-GfI (Chamber of Commerce and Industry). The first business case was challenging the students to automise the workshop’s organisation process, while during the second business case the students managed to develop a zero-touch provisioning system.

Before taking up the challenge, the students got a chance to attend lectures by a professor from FH Dortmund and a guest lecturer from KU Leuven. As a result of the workshop, the students did not only apply all received during the lectures knowledge to develop a business process and suggest IT Architecture implying TOGAF framework, but also learned how to communicate with the customers in order to maximize the effectiveness of the project.

Output:  all the students improved their skills, received certificates, and developed their network with colleagues.
