Online Winter School (ViMaCs)

The main focus: Virtual Master Cooperation Data Science (ViMaCs)

In this year’s Winter School, international Master students from FH Dortmund met online with teachers and students from our partner universities: National University Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic, West Ukrainian National University, and Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture. During lectures and workshops, the 30 students learned about Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, and Decision Making, Cloud Based Data Processing Systems as well as Data Acquisition and Processing.

The Winter School is based on the “Virtual Master Cooperation on Data Science” (ViMaCs) project, which has the goal to create a learning platform in the field of Data Science that enables teaching, learning, and lab activities online, in order to improve international study cooperation. The event is one of the first in a row of schools that take place at the different locations of the partner universities.
