This year the International Days at KU Leuven Campus de Nayer took place from the 8th to the 14th of March.
Once again a group from FH Dortmund took part in the event, consisting of 21 students from „Master in Embedded Systems for Mechatronics“, „Master in Digital Transformation“ and „European Master in Project Management“, as well as two lecturers and four assistants. Prof. Dr. Schulz gave a lecture to the students of KU Leuven about “Time state machines for FPGAs” and Prof. Dr. Schuster lectured about “Edge Computing: A New Technology That Drives Customer Value and Global Business Success”. The students took part in lectures and workshops regarding the topics “Motor and chip tuning”, “Python and Raspberry Pi” and “Speech Processing for Intelligent Systems”, among others. They also had the possibility to visit a job fair, that was organized on campus and featured many international companies. Due to the outbreak of the Corona Virus, the usual social events and several lectures could not take place. Nevertheless, the students had the chance to join a guided city tour through Antwerpen with Prof. Peter Arras.
